Fraud and scam alert
It has come to our attention that NEO Energy’s name has been fraudulently used by third parties – often communicating with individuals via messaging services – on unofficial websites or apps.
The scammers’ goal is to extort money from individuals by asking for payment upfront for fake ancillary costs (travel agency, visa fees etc.) or to obtain personal and financial information (bank account details, personal address, etc.).
NEO Energy will never request any payment or ask for financial information during our recruitment process.
If a job offer or communication looks fraudulent, it probably is. Please note, all legitimate communications will be sent from a verifiable NEO Energy address (@neweuropeanoffshore.com) and not from a web-based e-mail address e.g. Hotmail, gmail etc.
What should you do?
- Do not make any payments.
